Whales in the harbour

On Tuesday and Wednesday, July 30 and 31, 2002, Southern Right whales visited Sydney Harbour. Two adults and a young whale swam around the first day in pouring rain. On Wednesday, the young whale was sent northbound while the two big ones tried to make baby whales directly in front of the Opera House, underneath the Harbour Bridge, and next to Mc Mahons Point. The newspaper "Sydney Morning Herald" titles the next issue: Sex in the City ;-) See also the Monthly Report August 2002.
